About X-Cerpts Unlimited

Hi! Scotto here. Since 2017 it has been my pleasure to bring you Uncanny X-Cerpts: A weekly complete readthrough of Marvel's Uncanny X-Men examining the action and excitement of the comics, the quality of its storytelling, and other elements of its history, all through my uniquely skewed lens.

From time to time I get the urge to write about comics that are not, strictly speaking, part of my Uncanny X-Men journey. For a while this was housed on my Patreon but for a variety of reasons I was unable to provide what I thought was a satisfactory paid service. However, that did not stop me from wanting to have an x-tra outlet.

And so, upon the 5th anniversary of Uncanny X-Cerpts, I bring you you: X-Cerpts Unlimited, a special stretch space where I can write about any comic, be it the X-Men's far-flung future not likely to be covered on X-Cerpts this decade, some strange digression in their story, or my other interests like Marvel 2002 (a look at a key year for the company and my own comic fandom.)

I hope that you enjoy what I do here as much (or more than!) you do my regular X-Cerpts output. Since I am not providing myself a set schedule for updates, please feel free to subscribe (if that's still a thing here on Blogspot?) or watch for updates on the X-Cerpts Twitter.
